He wants to see us happy

“Through contemplation and prayer, we seek to reach greater familiarity with God. Slowly we discover that our Heavenly Father desires our good, that he wants to see us happy, full of joy, and serene.” — Pope Francis

Reflection: When do you pray? What do you do as you pray? What is the good that you think our Father wants for you? Are you happy, content, and full of joy? If not, bring your cares or challenges to the Holy Spirit and contemplate Jesus’ Word in John 10:9-10, “I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.”
